About this policy

This policy explains how S.W.A.T: RTS Tactical Game (Android, package hantro.tower.roguelike), made by HanX Games, handles data. For the hanxgames.net website, see the website privacy page.

What the game does not use

The game does not ask you to create an account, and it does not use your location, camera, microphone or contacts.

Your progress

Your game progress is stored on your device in a local save file. Unless you use the optional Google Play Games cloud save (see below), it stays on your device, and the local file is removed when you uninstall the game.

Ads (Google AdMob)

The game shows ads through Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. Rewarded ads are optional: you choose to watch them to speed something up, retry a mission or double a reward. Interstitial ads appear at the end of a mission.

To serve ads, measure them and prevent fraud, AdMob may process data such as your Android Advertising ID, IP address, device information and ad interactions. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before showing personalized ads, and you can change your choice later by clearing the game's data (app data), after which the consent form is shown again the next time you open it, or by writing to us at hanxdestek@gmail.com. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings. We do not sell your data; ad data is processed by Google as our advertising partner. In-app purchases

The game offers in-app purchases through Google Play Billing: an ad-free pack, a starter pack and packs of in-game resources and speed-ups. Google processes your payment details, and we never see your card information. Only the purchase token and product ID are processed on your device to verify and deliver your purchase.

Notifications

The game schedules local notifications on your device (for example when construction is finished, an officer has healed or the daily operation is ready), and uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) to send announcement notifications, which uses a device token. On Android 13 and later the game asks for notification permission, and you can turn notifications off in the game settings or in your system settings.

Google Play Games Services (optional)

You can sign in to Google Play Games Services from the game, but you do not have to. If you do, Google provides your player ID and player name to the game. Cloud save (saved games) keeps your progress in your Google account so you can restore it on another device. Achievements and leaderboard scores are sent to Google Play Games, and on leaderboards your player name may be visible to other players. Google handles this data under the Google Privacy Policy, and you manage it from your Google account and the Play Games settings.

Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

The game uses Firebase Crashlytics, a service from Google, to receive crash and error reports. A report can include your device model, operating system version, the game version, the crash stack trace and a Crashlytics installation ID. We use it only to find and fix bugs and keep the game stable. We do not sell this data and do not use it for advertising. Google processes it as described in the Firebase privacy and data processing information.

Google Play

Downloading and updating the game through Google Play is governed by Google Play's own terms and privacy policy, not by this one.

Children

The game is not aimed at children under 13, and its ads are not marked as child-directed. It contains weapon violence shown with unrealistic low-poly characters.

Deleting your data

Data on your device is deleted when you uninstall the game. Google Play Games data (cloud save, achievements, leaderboards) is managed from your Google account. To ask us to delete Crashlytics data, email us at the address below.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
